Code of conduct
KickOff Sports ApS ("KickOff") is dedicated to ensuring a safe and inclusive
environment for all who participate in activities organised via KickOff. The purpose of this
Code of Conduct is to promote an environment based on ethical, respectful, and sporting
behaviour within the entire KickOff community.
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, from the moment they arrive at the facility
until they leave it.
1. General Obligations and Safety
1.1. All participants undertake to comply with all applicable rules, guidelines, and
terms for participation in the respective activities. This includes, but is not limited to,
game rules, facility rules, and KickOff's Code of Conduct.
2. Prohibited Conduct – Respect and Discrimination
2.1. KickOff celebrates diversity, equality, and inclusion and does not tolerate behaviour
that undermines this.
3. Discrimination, Harassment, and Abusive Conduct
3.1. It is strictly prohibited to exhibit discrimination, harassment, or abusive conduct. This
includes but is not limited to:
1. Expressing derogatory, discriminatory, or unwelcome comments based on or with
reference to race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, age, sexual
orientation, or gender identity.
2. Engaging in physical or verbal sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is defined
as unwanted, unacceptable, inappropriate, or offensive behaviour of a sexual
nature that affects another player's dignity and creates an intimidating, hostile,
unstable, or offensive playing environment.
4. Violent and Threatening Conduct
4.1. KickOff does not tolerate violent, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour towards
other participants, officials, staff, or spectators. This includes but is not limited to:
1. Laying hands on, pushing, shoving, hitting, or threatening an official, employee,
participant, or spectator.
2. Endangering the safety of any official, employee, participant, or spectator.
3. Verbally or physically abusing an official or participant.
5. Dealing with Officials and Dissent
5.1. Participants must respect and comply with an official's decision and may not refuse to
comply with it. The following is therefore prohibited:
1. Exhibiting objectionable behaviour or dissent by throwing equipment or
performing other violent actions in connection with an official's decision.
2. Publicly discussing, in a derogatory manner, any official's decision or others'
personal opinions.
6. Interpersonal Conflict
6.1. The participant must not publicly discuss, in a derogatory manner, others' play,
decisions, or personal opinions.
7. Unsafe Play
7.1. It is prohibited to exhibit deliberately dangerous or reckless playing behaviour.
7.2. Participants must not engage in excessive physical play or use unnecessarily
aggressive tactics against other participants.
8. Illegal Activities
8.1. It is prohibited to knowingly engage in illegal activities.
9. Facilities and Property
9.1. Participants are obliged to show respect for the facilities used in KickOff's activities.
10. Facility Rules
10.1. Violation of facility rules is prohibited, including:
1. Possessing or consuming alcohol at the facility.
2. Smoking at the facility.
3. Appearing in an intoxicated state at the facility.
4. Use or possession of illegal substances.
5. Exhibiting lack of respect or care for the facilities.
11. Responsibility for Damages
11.1. The participant is responsible for damage to equipment or facilities, including but not
limited to third-party property, including sports facilities, equipment, or personal
belongings.
12. App and Profile Integrity
12.1. The following conduct related to the Platform is prohibited:
1. Misuse of the App, false profile information, or fraud.
2. Playing under another person's name, a falsified name, or a falsified address.
3. Knowingly disregarding KickOff's established rules, including Terms and
Conditions of Sale and Code of Conduct.
13. Commercial Activity
13.1. The participant must not promote any product or competing league to officials,
employees, participants, or spectators.
14. Consequences of Violation
14.1. Violation of the KickOff Code of Conduct may lead to sanctions that can be imposed
individually or on an entire team.
14.2. Consequences may include:
1. Warning from an official.
2. Exclusion from the current activity.
3. Temporary or permanent exclusion (suspension/removal) from participation in
future activities without refundof payments.
4. Police reporting in serious cases.
KickOff reserves the right to update the Code of Conduct at any time without prior notice.
